Why the $$$$ are you doing this?
Because its funny. Its something to do. I like doing random things like this. In short, because I feel like it. The fact that other people like what I make just gives me more incentive to keep doing it.
How come this isn't hosted on Firebird?
It would be, however Firebirds server has been acting really slow lately. I didn't want to make everyone suffer through a slow server just to read this little faq or download the map. So I'm putting it here.
How come this isn't hosted on Sidewinder?
I'm not a staff member there, so why would it? Also, see above, except substitute Sidewinder wherever you see Firebird.
I'd like to use a trigger/idea/whatever in my map, is that ok?
Knock yourself out. I learned by looking at other maps and thanks to the benevolance of the Map Development Forum at Battle.net. If you do get an idea or whatever from something I did, a special thanks in the credits of your map would be greatly appreciated.
With that in mind, I opened the map in StarEdit but it gave me all kinds of errors!
You also need the SCEP patch for StarEdit. You should be able to get it from Infoceptor's customs section.
How did you pick the Heroes/Villans?
The heroes were picked mostly from the Sidewinder War Refuge, I asked who wanted to play what on a first come first serve basis. Most villans were picked by me, although a couple were by popular request. Some people didn't get in, hopefully they can get into the sequel.
If someone is a villan it makes them a lamer right?
No. This map is in good fun. I'm poking fun at them. I have no idea what these people are like in real life. They may be very nice people, they may be lamers. I don't know. Don't assume from my map that they are something they may not be. Thats just stupid.
